I’m passionate about traveling, and this year has been an incredible journey for me. I spent my college exchange semester in Mannheim, Germany, and had the chance to visit over eight countries across Europe. During the summer, I joined a two-week program in Texas and began my solo backpacking adventure — traveling from Texas to Tennessee and across the U.S., from the East Coast to the West Coast. Along the way, I met amazing people through the CS community and beyond, many of whom have become close friends.

Later in the year, during the Chinese holidays (I’m currently studying in China), I traveled to Bali and Lombok for surfing and hiking Mount Rinjani, an active volcano. These experiences have been truly life-changing, inspiring me to continue meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and exploring more of the world.
