🇨🇳I was born, raised, educated, and worked in Shanghai until 27. Apart from short trips in 30 countries, I had never really left the city. While I enjoy the adventure of living and working around the world, it has also made me realize just how remarkable China really is.
🌍To me, happiness is about having the liberty to experience life in different parts of the world on my own will. So far, I’ve spent the past few years living in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and now Thailand. I’ve deeply enjoyed every place I’ve lived, worked, and travelled through, especially the interesting souls I met. 🧳Life is short . I still enjoy the rhythm of moving — a year or two in one country feels just right for me. Living in London, New York or Paris will be my goal in the very near future. After spending a few years abroad, I’ve realized how much I belong in a big city. 🤣

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a host, I open my spare home to connect and build friendships. As a couchsurfer, I also believe in contributing in my own ways — with a small gift, a home-cooked meal, or by picking up the bill for a nice dinner — as a gesture of courtesy.
