Music, Movies, and Books
I love Coldplay, Queen, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, etc.
Green Book is the best movie I watched lately.
I love reading stories of people and places. So a great memoir always captures my attention. Novels too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing I did that makes me proud is that I quit my job in China seven years ago and study abroad, Malaysia, to be specific. It was a scary thing to do, as at the age of 28, people in China are thinking of settling down, buying properties, getting marrided and having children. But I did something bold, and I would never traded it with anything. I then studied in Malaysia for three years and then did not want to come back right away and worked there for another three years. It was such an amazing experience and changed my perspective about the world and shaped who I am. Yay!
Teach, Learn, Share
I always wanna learn and try new things professionally and personally. Right now I am planning to learn a musical instrument, drums and /or Ukelele.
I try to journal as much as I can, which helps me think and reflect.
I also wanna polish up my writing skills in both English and Chinese. Sometimes when you learn a foreign language your mother tongue is somehow affected. So I really wanna balance both languages. Anyway, so much to share and learn, music, sports, jokes, etc. lol.
