Hi, I am Ying. I have beening living in Tianjin for 3 years.
I am a person with high criousity about the world, like to understand in depth different cultures. and I always find chance to go out to see the world as much as I can.

I found couchsurfing last year, so I haven`t been a couchsurfer yet.But I am looking forward to experience it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before my graduation, I travelled a lot in China as an backpakcer, but still I found travling around used to be a little bit superfacial.
I come to Tianjin three years ago, I found living in a city is quite different from travelling, I am so obssessed with the local hostory and the culture, and I found having connections with local people is a great way to get to know a city, then I find Couchsurfing

Travelling is my biggest interest of cource, I am so curious about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is River Town，written by an American jounalist He Wei, describing his teaching life in a small city of China in 1990s. I can see the things we take so granted from a totally different point of view from his eyes.

I like TV series, my best TV show is Grey`s Anatomy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most fabulous thing of my life is to making phone calls with my parents. I see what support and love is.

Another amazing experince is study in Taiwan for one semster, during that period, I discover the whole Taipei city through subway. I like to getting to know a city from zero.
