Since my partner Morgan haven't put much info on his page, i will write something for both of us.
We are a Chinese &Slovenian couple, share mutual interests like food, cooking, travel, workout... ...But somehow we can be totally different personalities. Idealistic vs practical; relax, slow pace vs worrywart, mission oriented... ... guess which one is which, i will let you to find out:)
We are down to earth people, open-minded, and easy to talk to. We enjoy cooking at home, as well as going to a nice cafe or restaurant. When it comes to food, we are not very picky about the environment as long as the food is good(FOOD HAS TO BE GOOD!!). Not much a drinker, a movie night with popcorn will make us happy.
As surfers, we are neat, clean and thoughtful. Would like to share a meal or cuppa with hosts but we probably stay out most of the time.
As hosts, we would prefer a real traveller, meaning spend most of the time sightseeing and stuff:P ( Still want to keep a little bit time and space for ourselves) I mean we don't mind share a conversation or spend sometime together, just not 24s, and treat our home as a resort:P
I don't mind that people want a free accommodation, nothing wrong with that, travel sometime can be expensive. Just need a little bit common sense. Good communication, respect and appreciation are something we learned from our Couchsurfing experience. It works both way.
It can be really difficult and frustrated for a couple to find a host, for different reasons. I will make sure i read the profile before i sent a request, sometime i can't write a big, long message but you can find everything on my home page.
I'm not particularly picky with my guests, you don't have to be super funny or interesting or have amazing experience. As long as you are a trusty, mature, and thoughtful person. I'm more than happy to host anyone in need.
Believing the good in people, and also the dark side, we are all human beings.
Stay truthful to yourself as possible, and try not to judge others.
Never give up, and try to be the best of yourself.
Treat people the way you want to be treated.
Updated information: I'm currently study at Le Cordon Bleu to become a chef, let's see how it turn out :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet locals and see the places from their perspectives.
Saving money in places are expensive for accommodations, and helping people in the same situation.
If i'm lucky maybe i will have a good time with the hosts or the surfers. That's just a bonus really.
For me it's simple as meeting people, having a local experience and helping each other.
