In short, I am a Chinese living in Adelaide.

After living proudly and happily in Kyoto, Japan for two years and three months, I am now relocated in Adelaide, Australia.

I am about to move to my new home in city. Finally, I will be able to host again. Please don’t send me a super long request. I don’t mind that you just go into the topic. Also, why the request is all about me? I want to know you.

I studied biotechnology and applied biosciences for my bachelor’s and master’s in China and Japan respectively. During my study on my master’s, I realized research is not really my thing. I prefer to do something practical. Also, the selected social sciences courses arose my interests in social justice field. So I decide to study social work in February 2023.

After I graduated last September, I started to travel, in the meantime, raise funds for refugees by organizing events. I mostly travel in Japan because I don’t need apply for a visa (visa application gives me headaches).

If I am at home, I would like to host you and give you a great experience in Kyoto. I have received a lot of kindness and met plenty of great people here.

Make sure you check “Your Home & Preference” before sending me a request. I live in a Japanese version hippie community in Kyoto. It is in a convenient location. Our place is quite messy, but people love it when they spend some time here.

I am not a fan in any particular kind. However, I do spend a considerate amount of time on these three things.

I watch 2-3 films per week on average. Sometimes, I spend the whole week watching films, cutting off from everything. I like detective and mysterious the most.

As for music, I am always obsessed with one singer for weeks before I switch to another.

I used to read a lot. But now it is hard for me to settle down to finish a book. I guess my mentality and lifestyle have changed.
