About Me
An occasional stroller// im new here ;)
Hi this is Yiran from Beijing! I am currently a college student studying cognitive science. I love everything about the mind and body. I have travelled to a lot of places but many of which were with my parents or friends. I was inspired by people around me who have been doing solo trips, and so here I am- a novice solo-tripper who is a bit anxious about the unfolding of this brand new journey. I am still figuring out what to do with my life, and I am taking a gap year right now to take things slowly. Hopefully I will become more enlightened ;D
Some questions that intrigue me (non-exhaustive): do I really like traveling? how can we leverage computational models to better understand decision making and reasoning? How to make the perfect overnight oats?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
They say institutions are bubbles, and I found myself being trapped by that preordained social circle in those bubbles. I want to branch out, and I want to meet more people- though it may seem a bit daunting at first ;(
