About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be or not to be, whichever works best =D
ABOUT ME
I'm a nice guy, according to pretty much everyone who knows me reasonably well. Clearly, they don't know me well enough!
I am usually up for participating in whatever shenanigans/adventures/escapades people are thinking of doing.
PHILOSOPHY
Buddhism works for me and helps with the living life better stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I kept ending up at CS events and eventually was convinced that I should join up. I'm pretty active in terms of attending CS events, be it picnics, meetups, subway rides...
Right now I'm not in a position to host, but if you are looking for someone to do stuff with, show you around, etc. drop me a line.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couch has seen a constant stream of friends and friends-of-friends. Haven't been able to host through CS yet because I have roommates and they aren't comfortable with it. I'm working on changing their minds though.
Interests
I have managed to pick up a couple of hobbies along the way to keep me occupied. I'm learning to play the guitar, very much in to photography and honing my skills of general awesomeness.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like the DUNE series and a number of other Sci-Fi/Fantasy stories, but also like slightly twisted stories like John Irving's work. The Hotel New Hampshire is one of my favorite books. Last few novels/stories I read were by Hitomi Kanehara and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
More recent movies I've liked include Stranger than Fiction, The Secretary and other tales like those. I enjoyed most of the big superhero movies of late. Old favorites are Blazzing Saddles, Hackers, L'auberge Espagnole and Almost Famous, as well as The Princess Bride.
I can't even begin to list what music I like most because I don't really think about it that way. I'll listen to almost anything at least to see what it's like. If I can dance to it, then I'm generally ok with it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Conquered my fear of heights enough to jump off a 20 foot cliff jump (into water).
Teach, Learn, Share
The most random and useless piece of information I know - Chairman Kaga from Iron Chef (Japan) also played the role of Jean Valjean in the Japanese version of Les Miserables.
