Hi guys!

I’m a 19 year old girl who is traveling alone in Asia. I started my travels in January 2018 in Nepal. Here I stayed 2,5 months to work as a volunteer in a small house for street children. I helped with the cleaning, cooking, there homework and played a lot with them. After Nepal, I went to Sri Lanka for a month and then to South-Korea. Now in Japan!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I noticed that I love spending time with locals. It is a beautiful way to get to know the country and you see it in a whole different way than when you’re just traveling.

Shantaram - Gregory David Roberts. This book is sooo freaking good and it does remind me of my time in Nepal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Nepal, I did a track in de Himalayas. The top was on 4000 km and it was so hard to get on the top and so cold. But when I got there, it was the most beautiful thing I’ve seen and the suffering was all worth it.
I also did bungee jumping in Nepal, that was so cool
