ABOUT ME

Don't make any assumptions based on my hometown/state.

I don't like to post too much on these online profile sites. I'm just a typical poor grad student who travels when he can (usually through work, school, and/or research).

I guess since you're reading this deciding whether or not to possibly stay with this guy, i'll divulge a little more. I suck at languages, but i'm decent in Japanese. I don't care much about culture (even American), but i like to see and hear stories of different ways of going about life. I'm pretty resourceful and can usually figure out a way to get something done. I like to know the cities in which i live and can be a pretty decent tour guide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only couchsurfing experience has been through meeting a couple of people through a SNS (social-networking site) and staying with them during a roadtrip i took in 2002. But i'd love to host some people.
