I love traveling (both Japan and World) and would like to know particularly about culture and foods.

I worked as pediatrician and neonatologist by June 2025.
I quit my job and am traveling around the world now. (Now in Brazil, Feb 2026)
I will travel South America from 2026 January for 6-7 months and would like to how local people live through couchsurfing.

I was born in Tokyo and lived by high school, I moved to Shizuoka (middle part of Japan) and spent university and six years of work.
After Shizuoka, I went back to Tokyo and spent 3 years in COVID era.
After Tokyo, I went to Okayama (west part of Tokyo) and back to Tokyo.
I lived some places of Japan and love traveling (I have been to almost all of prefectures), I can teach you my recommended place in Japan and regional difference in Japan.

I am triathlete and past-volleyball player, loving exercise now. (swim, bike, running , muscle training and volleyball)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to make friends and communicate with people all over the world.
It is very interesting to talk about our culture, food and lifestyle through couchsurfing.
It is my objective in my travel to live like local people.
