My Self is fluid and undefinable ;) but I am interested in you! And would love to share stories and meet people from whom I can learn - which is every person, and with whom we can grow and challenge our Selves and find unity, peace and wellbeing, not just for our selves but for all beings.

Interessen

In particular, my interest in humans lies in people's philosophies and experiences, and human nature, the potential for beauty and light and darkness. As well as the ways in which people create notions of Other and Self and how these change, how people gain, retain and lose power and so many many things under the vast topic of sustainability!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

World music, folk, instrumental and classical, groove, reggae, R&B, jazz, all beautiful music with soul in it. I am always excited to discover new beautiful music to listen to!

Disney films were a treasured part of my childhood and used to love Black Books and Green Wing. I love film as a medium, and really live the story of the characters they contain and empathise with them. I can't think of one horror film I have really enjoyed, although the more humorous ones are more enjoyable, mostly for this reason and that they stay with me as a potential reality until at least the following morning! I also love documentaries, such as all the David Attenborough series, used to love Unreported World but haven't watched it in ages, and saw one about a group of people who visited a prison in the USA during a therapeutic healing period of some kind, and joined in. Man was it powerful.

I have read countless books, they were a sanctuary and gave me purpose as a non-conformist nature child, and continue to have such power to capture me and transport me to other worlds and imaginative fantasies of magic and wonder, the creative potential is limitless.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Recently went on a solo cycling journey which totalled just under 1000 miles in 1 month, through Scotland, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, and England, stopping for a week or more here and there as my main purpose for the trip was to visit a friend, and other times cycling as hard as possible for up to 11 hours a day and doing a couple of 100 miles in a day! As I've chosen not to fly anywhere anymore, this and sailing is going to have to be my mode of transport from now on - I cannot tell you how free I felt and how fucking badass.

I feel like I will always have a lot to learn and try and learn as much as possible. What I could perhaps share is my knowledge about the natural world - plants, animals, organic agriculture, yoga, sustainability, Waldorf education, what life in a Camphill community is like, classical singing and how to use your voice well, how to play the violin, the English language.

I would love to become fluent in another language and learn anything a host would like to teach me! Share experiences, stories, cultures...
