About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The one year honeymoon

ABOUT ME

I was born in the UK and lived there until I was ten until my family moved to Australia. I consider myself Australian but I still feel a connection with the UK having all my extended family there. I met my wife Eva (from Germany) travelling in Thailand in 2006. I'm an IT professional or was until I decided to go travelling for a year with Eva after we got married. I love meeting other like minded travellers and my favourite destination is India where I've travelled the most love the exceptionally different culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Being a good, kind person, helping others, integrity, honesty, friends and family, not judging others, being open to different ideas, finding the good in people. Religion or race isn't important, it's who you are on the inside and how you apply that in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By telling people I meet about couchsurfing... yeah I could do more... promise I will host people when we have come back from our trip and have a place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced by a very close friend in Sydney who is heavily involved with the Sydney group. I've been along to a few events with him and met some great people.
