ABOUT ME

I am a nice girl and I love meeting new people. I can talk about interesting topics: education, political, art, music, cinema... I am not an expert but I like to share my opinion about things with other people, I like to ask loads of questions to other people if I want to know more about their culture, job, pasion in life or actitud in general. Sometimes I am quite philosophical or that is what some people say.

I like to chill and watch a good films, talk after a good meal or while drinking a beer or a tea.
I also like to go out, dancing, have some drinks, socialise and meet new people. It just depends on the day!

I am a teacher and I really believe education can change the world. I love learn new things, about other cultures, music and different arts, curious things in general.

I am very respectful, quiet and easygoing. If there is something that I don´t like I will say it, I am honest and sometimes It is hard for me to shut up.

I follow my dreams and I try not to put walls in front of me. If I have a goal I will try to reach it by working very hard, at some point I will get there.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet different people, cultures and countries.
When I had a space I hosted people in my house and I am always happy to meet new people just for a chat in a pub or to show them the city where I live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started in couchsurfing while I was doing my Erasmus in Italy three years ago. It was a really nice experience that´s why I want to keep doing it.

I met people from countries that I´ve never visited as South Africa, Greece, Poland or Germany. It is always nice to learn about their own countries and cultures.

Intereses

I love education I am lucky that I want to spend my time doing it as a job. I like to be round children and also teach adults. When you love education and you are implicated (usually) you are a politic lover as well because you need to know what is happening round you, in your local area, in the whole world.

I love watching films! I love cinema and theater. It is wonderful to feel things inside while seeing great preformances.

I like travelling, visit new places and create new memories in a place with new people. I usually go to visit the museums and go to see the important monuments of the city but I love going to a new city and get lost through their people.

Música, películas y libros

Music: hip-hop, indie, pop, rock, classical... always open to know about new bands, singers, musicians. Currently listening Black Keys, Prince, Nina Simone, Beirut.

Cinema: Woody Allen, Javier Bardem, Alejandro Amenabar, Almodovar, Amelie, Tim Burton, Home alone, Back to the future...

I am a Spanish teacher so I love sharing my passion about Spanish language and culture, also I am able to be critical because this is the culture that I know most.

I like talking about what does it means to be an immigrant even if I am from Europe.

I want to learn something new everyday. I don´t want to stop learning or sharing things.
