ABOUT ME

I work an overnight shift at a retail chain as a primary source of income. I also run a record label called "Etiquette Fiend Records" (EF records) here in Georgia. It is an independent Atlanta-based label consisting of mostly punk rock bands - however, no matter the genre, it's the message that we look for in the music.

Music is a very large part of my life. I am a musician as well as a visionary. The music I produce from other bands is not about the money, but simply the message, the emotion, and above all, the art. I have been playing drums for about seven years. Music is my passion.

I also love to write. Whether poems, short stories, political ideals, or philosophical thoughts. I think a very large part of setting up a profile here was inspired by sheer love of conversation. I can not stress how much I enjoy talking to people, especially from a completely different culture! It's very inspiring to take feedback, and learn about different thoughts and perspectives from others.

Ultimately, in three words, I could probably sum myself up as: friendly, outgoing, and intellectual.

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe that, the very basis of life can be broken down into two very basic perspectives: compassion and knowledge. Compassion meaning, we as humans, are always looking for someone else to talk to, learn from, etc. Knowledge is of course the fact that we are always learning. Put these two together, and you have a very sound basis of life. It is ultimately what I strive for.

Movies: Snatch, Holy Grail, 28 Days Later, Fear and Loathing, Shaun of the Dead, Zeitgeist documentary, American Hardcore documentary, independent films, and movies that just mess with your head!

Music: ska, punk, metal, opera, classical, hip hop, and everything in between.

Books: Among the Thugs is one of my favorites, I need to read more. Generally anything relating to philosophy I find will end up in my hands somehow.
