About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to find local people to mmet who are down to earth, adventurous and fun. I am always looking to see and try new things. Right now I am living in Barcelona for 3.5 months and would like to get out of the city and travel a bit.

ABOUT ME

there are so many things I could say in this section. I'm outgoing, down to earth, love to laugh and just be silly. I have 2 blogs at the moment, one about food and current issues, and one where I simply post pics that I have taken. Both for classes which I am taking yet I find myself enjoying them more and more. I am 27 and like to be able to go out and get a beer or go dance the night away. I'm down with all different kinds of music; from Ray Charles to Metallica to Avicii to Bach to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre... If it sounds good then I like it haha. I am definitely a lover of food and would call myself a foodie for sure. This helps out with my affinity for cooking as well. They go hand in hand. 2 peas in a pod. They go together like lamb and tunafish... Maybe you like spaghetti and meatballs? You more comfortable with that analogy? haha a funny quote from the funny movie Big Daddy with Adam Sandler.

PHILOSOPHY

"Man can not carry heavy stones without big heart."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well so far I haven't been able to participate at all yet, besides finishing my profile, as this is my first time on here. I hope to make this as fun as it can be. I know for a fact, the more you put into something, the better the result will be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, yet... but workin on it haha

Interests

I love to laugh, so naturally anything that I find funny will snag my attention real quick. Also, good music is another way to get me focused haha. Now if you throw great food in with laughter and good music then you've reached the trifecta of interests and an amazing time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and music and definitely enjoy delving into new adventures each new book has to offer.
Recently I have acquired numerous new movies and a massive selection of all different types of music. For movies, I would have to reference The Shawshank Redemption, Ace Ventura, Kung Foo Hustle as a few of my favorite movies right now.
I love all different types of music, but recently I have been listening to a lot of Skrillex, Modest Mouse, Mumford and sons, Bob Marley, Jay-Z, and some soothing classical music while I am studying.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do have some moments that left me amazed but I'll only describe one of them to you. The day i picked my dog up from the airport when he was only 10 weeks old. He had been flying for 4-5 hours from Philadelphia to San Francisco and driving for 2 hours before that to even reach the airport in Philadelphia. I checked him out at the counter from the airline while he was still in his crate. I went straight to the bathroom to make sure he was alright. He had peed and pooped all over the crate but the second I opened the crate's cage door, he immediately jumped on top of me as if he knew who I was and it was an instant bond. I know sounds like a big wheel of gouda cheese, but oh well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I worked in a non-public non-profit organization which had a fully staffed school for children in grammer school to 21 years of age, ranging the entire autism disease as well as kids who had learning dissabilities and who lacked social skills. This said, I developed some great patients and people skills. This was also the field in which I hope to have a career in one day.

For some reason, a random thing I have always wanted to learn was oragami. I find it fascinating and am always an eager learner.
