About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a world citizen and to meet as many of its inhabitants as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am a current college student majoring in Hospitality Management. I just got married July 5th of this past summer to a wonderful man. We share a passion for travelling and want to begin our journey throughout the world together.
I enjoy reading, travelling, meeting new people, hiking, basketball, and cooking dinner with my husband.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life in a way that isn't wasteful. I don't want to wake up fifty years from now and wonder what I did with those fifty years. I also want to make a positive impact on others. I hope my life is beneficial to others as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading and my interests in types of books varies. I mostly love anything historical.
My husband plays the guitar and so we like to go listen to local acts together. We also enjoy blues and rock. Specifically, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Janis Joplin, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a work trip to Cost Rica when I was sixteen. I saw so many amazing things while there that changed me forever. People with hardly any wordly objects that had huge smiles on their faces and only hugs and kind words to share. The whole experience was an amazing one to me and I will never forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would LOVE to learn Dutch. My family is from the Netherlands but, unfortunatley, my Grandfather only ever spoke the Dutch swear words around my Mother, so the language in our family died with him.
If anyone wants to learn about the Upper Penninsula of Michigan, let me know!
