Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I started my CS experience earlier, it would have made my travel so much more exciting and meaningful. Better late than never. :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had very little experience of surfing. But I met up with some CSers while traveling in Europe, we had great time together. Also meeting some travelers here in KL my hometown, some become friends. Not very good in managing my profile anyway, didn't put everyone I met on the road in my list. We crossed each others path, shared good time, parted and keep friends in hearts.

Interests

Traveling, scuba diving, swimming, cycling, hiking, kayaking, adventure, sports( football, formula one), writing, reading, painting, photography, eat and drink.

I love taking lots of photos from my trips, they are the best souvenir and stay forever. I love to try local beer and take a picture of the beer and landmark.

Writing and talking to different people are my job, I love my job!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: From classical to alternative rock, depend on mood. I like Jack Johnson, Carla Bruni. Have strong interest in Spanish songs, Juanes, Mana, Shakira...etc.

Favourite movies: Motorcyle Diary, Y Tu Mamá Tambien, City of God, Slumdog Millionaire, La vita è bella, Day after tomorrow, Departure, All Tim Burton's movies, All Tarantino's movies, All Christopher Nolan's movies, All Tom Hank's movies....Good Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, Hong Kong movies, too many to be listed.

Favourite books: most of them in Chinese I wouldn't elaborate here, English book like K-Pax, Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Sun, funny pieces by Jeremy Clarkson, football related books...etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2004 Scuba dived in Sipadan, saw more than 200 hammerhead sharks in my first deep dive, amazing!

2008 Quit my job, sold my car, said goodbye to family and friends, left Malaysia to Europe working as a Formula One freelance journalist.Traveled around Europe, living out of a suitcase, always on road. It's a once in a lifetime experience.Now back to Malaysia, miss the great adventure but not really miss F1. :-)

2011 traveled in Balkans, skinny dipping in Croatia, joined a naked bike ride in Greece, so fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning Spanish and wish to practice with Spanish speakers. :-) Teach me!!

I also love to share your interesting stories, I'm a very good listener.
