To see an entire movie from beginning to end at night. I tend to fall asleep half way through on a week night. Oh, and world peace.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Florida and Arizona. I went to college in Madison, WI. I'm an artist and an educator. I've worked in clay, video, acrylic painting, and printmaking. I once got a short film in SXSW. I love the water but have not been around it since a teenager so I'm getting acclimated to it once again. I love to travel but haven't been out of the country (except trips to Rocky Point in Mexico)since 2002 :( I definitely want to travel more.

PHILOSOPHY

Oh, geezz... I think people should use "..." more and less "lol" and "lmao" but "wtf" is always useful.
I guess a more helpful response to "What is my personal philosophy" is enjoy life but try not to hurt anyone in the process... and let the negative stuff go but for goodness sake, act like an adult most of the time... okay, half of the time... whatever, our actions have consequences and sometimes those consequences are very good. No, I'm not drunk. Why do people keep asking me that!?

very very little... well, almost none actually, relatively the smallest amount possible, close to zero but not quite... no, I am not drunk. Why do you ask?

Interests

Walks on the beach, romantic sunset candle light dinners... What? Wrong site? Oh, let's see... These days I'm into exploring Austin. I really love the night life- going to see live music, dance clubs, and just hanging out with friends (and new friends, of course) enjoying a new spot (preferably outside with a view and a breeze). I'm not what they call "outdoorsy" but I give the ol' try.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've seen most movies. I haven't had a TV in years but recently got one. It's mostly a giant paper weight with a beautiful picture. I'm a big music fan and like to go to shows. I've been known to go to 3-4 concerts a week. Specifically I like The Flaming Lips, Arcade Fire, The XX, Phantogram, and The Strokes. Actually I like most music but have an aversion to improvisational jazz and most popular country. But love me some Johnny Cash and his ring of fire.
And books- Not a huge reader due to my ADD ways but have started reading Eat, Pray, Love. My favorite book is Langston Hughes autobiography "Big Sea."
