Hi Everyone!

Sometimes i can be a pleaser, someone who tries to 'please' everyone, and who tries to make everyone feel comfortable. That makes me a real friendly, sweet, emphatic, not judgemental and open guy who is interested in almost everything. I'm outgoing, always in for an adventure and i really like to do what feels best for everyone.
I smile a lot and i really enjoy everything that comes my way. When things aren't fun i usually see them as challeges from which i can learn stuff. I really like to do active outdoor stuff, but i also really enjoy nice conversations, music and a good book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, and share experiences. Interactions with new people are always really honest, it gives the opportunity to really be yourself, and that's exactly what i wanna learn even better! Next to that i'm always very interested in what drives people to do what they do (that's definetely the sociologist in me).

Interests

Getting together with friends, making music, travelling, dancing(!). Talking about life, in every way, sharing stories and adventures. Drinking coffee, thee, wine. eating, i really love food!! But the best is when those things are shared with nice people. And learning new stuff, i'm quite curious about a lot of stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE music!! rarily a day without. And i listen to almost everything as long as its not too hard. I really dig music as long as it is melodic. But my all-time favorite is (and i guess will always be): J.J. Cale - especially the songs 'cajun moon''and 'river boat song'. Love it! What i like as well is learning new songs, artists, bands, djs.. So dont ever be shy to let me hear what you like to hear.

Reading books comes and goes in phases, but when im starting a new book i can easily lose myself into it, and enjoy it till the end. Some of my favorite books are: Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the unbearable lightness of being by Milan Kundera, the books written by Malcolm Gladwell (Especially outliers) .

Must see movies: 'Big Easy Express' (great documentary about three bands who are touring together by train trough the states). Some other movies which i loved are: Whiplash, Walk the Line, Muscle Shoals, Boyhood, lots and lots more!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i started to realize i shouldn't live life for other people but with other people. Sometimes that's still a challenge for me, but i'm getting there!
