ABOUT ME

Born and raised in central europe, in a very safe, sheltered environment. Left home for the first time when I was 17 and since then spend a lot of my time travelling the world, meeting new people with refreshingly new perspectives. At the same time I am trying to get an education in economics at the University of Frankfurt which has been my "basecamp" for the last almost 3 years. Right now the wind has blown me to Sydney/Australia for almost a year - so here I am painting my own personal picture of this huge country - do you want to be a part of it?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First got into it in 2006 when it was still young, that was back in Central America. Moved back to europe, lost sight of this project. Now that Im on the road again I am reviving this platform with life and energy.

Interests

Swimming, Biking, Running, Diving, Skiing, basically any outdoor activity. Apart from that I love to talk, not the smalltalk, the real talk. Professionally speaking im into economics, economic history, development economics and languages (which I unfortunately suck at).

Music, Movies, and Books

Dr. Strangelove, Apocalypse now, Primer, Pi
to name a few, I adore movies, but to put them in a ranking is such a hard (and unreasonable) thing to do.

Music: large spectrum, from the smiths to the streets, from Schubert to Ken Ishii.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have and still am doing a lot of sport, especially endurance sports such as running, swimming, biking etc. Therefore if you have any questions about getting started with a sport like that I'd be more than happy to help you out.
