About Me

To overthrow the patriarchy, to eradicate homophobia, end the occupation and to find my lost set of keys.

Just finished doing a master of law in Melbourne Uni. I focused on international trade law, development, and environmental sustainability. I had been a truly great year.

I enjoy reading a good book cuddled in my bed, I love cooking (vegan food), going out for a drink or a good party.

I'm an activist (or try to be). In the last couple of years I was involved in LGBT issues, de-militarization of the Israeli society and promoting animal rights.

The reality in Israel offers a lot of opportunities for social change. Now I'm not as involved as I would like. Planning to get back now that I finished my studies.

Was away for awhile. Now ready to host again.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" (Gandhi said it) but don't forget to have fun (I'm saying).

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Participated as a host and a guest. In the last year my accommodations wasn't suitable for hosting, so unfortunately haven't done much of that lately.

I have hosted when I lived in Jerusalem and was a guest of some wonderful people around Europe and Australia.

Politics, reading, social change, TV shows, sci-fi & fantasy stuff, cooking, gardining.

Music, Movies & Books

Books: good pop-fantasy and si-fic, other notable books are Sandman, A Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami, The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin, any of the Disc World.

Movies: A random sample: mirror image, princess bride, Howl's Moving Castle(well most of Miyazaki, Transamerica, Legally Blond (both of them), the Incredibles, Lion King, Shrek (both of them),eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Matrix (there is only one) and shurtbus.

Music: Another random sample (to listen): Garbage, Sunday's Best, The Corrs, Scissor Sisters, Sleater Kinney, Nina Hagen, Liza Minnelli, Abba, Team Dresch.

Party music just need to be danceable, preferbly rock or pop, but I'm open minded.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Taking part in organising Jerusalem pride.

Diving in Great Briar Reef.

Doing my LLM (though I realize not all people find international economic law as exciting as I do).

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to share my vegan cookin skills.
I could also teach Hebrew.
If you're interested in queer and radical politics (or any other kind of politics) in the area, I can talk for hours.

Countries I've Visited

Australia, France, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, United Kingdom, Zambia
