Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope someday to be able to travel and surf with fantastic people around the world, but for now my work is busy so I am content with hosting fellow surfers on their travels.

So far I have had the pleasure of hosting a number of surfers. I have found I greatly enjoy getting to meet fellow travelers, and I am happy to provide a resting place on their journey. Someday when I have more time to travel I would like to surf with others as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every trip I've taken has left an impact on me. From the time I took my sister to Ireland for her high school graduation, to my student exchange to Japan, to seeing the London Olympics for my birthday - all of this has helped show me the great (and awesome) world we all live in.

Teach, Learn, Share

So far with my hosting experiences I have taken surfers rock climbing, taught them how to cook a variety of dishes from pot roast to pizza, discussed what living in Alaska is like, and held many an excellent conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, and know some basics from many different cuisines. I also greatly enjoy trading travel stories.
