About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Am currently back in Hong Kong - wont be able to host, unfortunately, because I am staying at my parents' but can show you around the city or grab a drink!

See the world, feel the world so as to grow into a fully formed human being

ABOUT ME

I moved to Scotland in 2012 and have met lots and lots of amazing people from all over the world. Thought I would want to be an academic so I got myself into a PhD programme in England - turns out it may not be the best thing for me at the moment.
There is a Chinese saying - One may as well travel a million miles rather than reading a thousand books. Well I still love reading but am very ready to embrace the world and experience different cultures at this time of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have heard about couchsurfing from so many friends and would love to try. I enjoy, sometimes, doing touristy stuff but the best way to learn about a place is to interact with the people living there. That's what make traveler different from tourist, I guess?

Interests

Love books, cultures, strolling, arts, food and drinks. I also love talking and listening to people.
I was a literature student but have also been involved in theatre/backstage stuff for a good few years - especially enjoying myself in the scenic and lighting bits.

Am a translator/ interpreter so am always eager to learn about other languages.
