Hi! I’m Yuan, from China and now based in Riyadh. I work in product operations for a food delivery company, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about food, culture, and how people connect. Outside of work, I love travelling, diving into history, and exploring different cuisines. I believe sharing space is one of the best ways to truly understand each other’s culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I believe travel isn’t just about places—it’s about people. I don’t want my trips (or my life in Riyadh) to be only hotels, restaurants, and tourist checklists. I want real connections, shared meals, late-night conversations, and the kind of stories you only get when you stay with locals.

For me, Couchsurfing is about:

I love tennis more than just a little bit. I try my best to find a time to play little while once a week.Moving to a new campus in Australia really helps me meet a lot of people who love tennis and we get a chance to play against with different people, which is really amazing.
