Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I opened couch surfing account for a long time ago but have not used it too much. Previously, I choose to book hotel when I am on a trip. I want to try couch surfing this time, because my friends who have used couch surfing have very good experience of it and thus they strongly recommend me try it. Couch surfing is a good opportunity to make friends from other countries and sharing with each other different cultures and traditions. In my case, I can share my Chinese culture and cook Chinese dinner for you. Further, couch surfing is an economic way to travel for many people, especially for a student like me. Plus, as a girl, I do have some concern for safety when on a trip, but my friends told me that it is very safe to try couch surfing.

I like the music of Fall Out Boys. I like movies which can offer me “good energy”, good hope and describe the beauty of life. I like reading novels and books in the area of social science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a bit scared of bungee jumping for many years. But one day I decided to challenge myself by doing something that I normally do not do. So I tried to do bungee jumping. When I stood on the platform, hearing nothing but the heavy wind, I was too scared to jump. After a bit struggle in my mind, finally I did it. It was so scared, but exciting!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught some Danish guys to learn Chinese. My learning area is international relations and development. I could share with other people Chinese history and culture, Chinese language, or even Chinese food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am good at cooking, so I can cook dinner, especially Chinese dinner for hosts. Also, I can share Chinese history and culture with hosts. Plus, I could also teach hosts Chinese. Since I have been living in Denmark for some years, I could also share a bit Danish culture with hosts.
