ABOUT ME

I am a Singaporean Chinese lawyer who specialises in Personal Law (i.e. Family Law, Estate etc) I don't smoke, I don't drink hard liquor, I don't club, but I do have a thirst for adventure and trying new things.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that there is nothing that is broken that cannot be mended back together. It might have cracks but if it works, it's better than living with the pieces.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was in Sweden when I was off to Portugal to visit with some friends. My friends had to fly back to Singapore first while I had to wait out 2 more days in Porto. That was when one of my Swedish flat mates introduced to me the idea of Couch Surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great first Couch surfing experience! I ended up staying in the "house of doctors" where my couch surfing host who was then a medical student was a very gracious host together with her family. I was glad where earlier this year, I got to reciprocate the kindness when I hosted my Porto host's mother in my home. (Gave up my room for her and her aunt while I took the Couch) I think Couchsurfing is an amazing experience that allows the understanding and appreciating of different cultures.

兴趣

I love observing cultures, talking about societies, politics etc. I LOVE trying new food. I love new sights and smells and things unique to the place I'm visiting.

I love movies that make me cry, especially those involving families. The more tragic the movie the better.

When it comes to food, eaten brains, almost hatched eggs, kangeroos, rabbits, garden snails, baby scorpions, grasshoppers, stinky tofu...you get it that I love trying crazy stuff...
