I'm Yue, grew up in China. Currently living in the Netherlands for my master study, before that I lived in Germany for some time. While living abroad, many small trips popped up in my life.

Art and nature is my biggest passion.
With music and literature as companion in youth, design as my profession and dance as my recent hobby, all forms of art interest me, especially contemporary art in everyday life.
Nature is my another obsession, just became a hiker in the making since this August. Flee out of city from time to time is a necessity for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Tourist travelling has lost its charm on me for a long time, I'd like to design my own tour with some themes. Over recent years, I tried mountain cycling tour, hiking and tenting tour, culture tour and food tour etc.
Being introverted by nature, however, I surprisingly find that talking to people is much easier on the road. Inspiring talk just happens between interesting people with interesting life stories.

Thus I'm now trying Couchsurfing to actively look for meaningful experiences before my trip. I'd love to host guests too, but unfortunately my accommodation only allows some shared sleeping surface.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music taste mostly falls in the range of classic, indie rock and metal. Not hard-core but a bit alternative.
Movies and books with crimes definitely dominates my shelves. Nature and culture documentaries are also warmly welcomed.

We can certainly find a topic in art, music, architecture, music, philosophy, literature or politics to share our knowledge and doubt. Working on my vocabulary of scientific talk. All opinions are welcome based on mutual understanding and open-mindedness.
Not a cook with stable performance but have high tolerance of risky cooking adventure. Definitely an enthusiastic food seeker and a pleasant companion with good appetite.
