ABOUT ME

Born and raised in China. Now live in Northern California. I am a designer who likes to take photos everyday.

PHILOSOPHY

Ever since I read a quote, "everything is an experiment", it stuck with me. I tend to avoid include "every-" in what I say, but I really like the idea. So I follow "It's an experiment" especially when I am in doubt or afraid of doing something.

I live for the experiences of feeling alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Introduced by a couch surfer (later became my best friend) who paid to stay at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only had once so far: four days in Portland. Enjoyed the experience very much. Been keeping in touch and has become friends with the hosts afterwards. Later I hosted them when they visited the city where I live.

Music, Movies, and Books

☐ Most of my books are non-fictions covering topics in design, photography, writing, cooking, and thinking.

☐ For food, I dig authentic Chinese, proud of the rich food culture from my home country. Also just open to anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Representing the whole school carrying the flag at Master graduation ceremony.

Finished the first backcountry hike in Yosemite, hiking 22miles in two days.

Camped a night under the stars at white sands national monument alone.
