Overview
About Me
I'm a shy person but I love to travel and meet new people. I write poetry and fiction. My ideal lifestyle is to live in a place for a couple of years, then change a place to live another couple of years, and so on and so on. To do what kind of job is not important. What is important are lovely people, pubs, trees, books, and a nice piece of lawn to lie on and stare at the sky. Grown up in Beijing. Once lived in Taiwan for 4 years, studying philosophy. Now starting to live in England. That's all I want to share here, if you want to know more, chat with me ; )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm in a new place, I always want to live like locals. I want to see the cities from a resident's perspective, so that I can discover the subtle differences between this street and that, to explore the charm of the everyday life of people who are living in these places.
And it's always a lovely thing to talk to strangers, then become friends with these used-to-be strangers. I love reading, but I think a most common person is more complicated and have more things to explore than a greatest book.
