Born and raised in China, went to Buffalo for school and now work for a Maryland based company in the middle of nowhere. It's my fourth year in the States, and I could still remember the time when I didn't know how to reply to "what's up". I mean it's a ceiling, isn't it?

I consider myself a straight talker curious about everything. As I've become more used to the life here, I'd still like to explore different culture and areas. I'm not a huge fan of sightseeing but I do enjoy traveling to a new place, meeting the locals and getting to know their culture. Over the past three years, I went to Brazil and did some volunteer job there, and Japan just to learn the language. One thing I realize is that language is not necessarily a barrier most of the time, it's the sincere willingness to communicate that matters.
