I'm an open-minded, nature-loving adventure seeker, always looking to meet new people and broaden my perspective.

I work in architecture during the week, and am usually finding a way to go on a hike / camping / backpacking trip or finding something fun to do in the city on the weekends. I'm not very good at spending time at home, and love being outdoors.

I love meeting people from around the world, learning about different cultures and making friends. I'd rather immerse myself in the culture than be a tourist, and hope that couch surfing will allow me do so.

I volunteered in the tsunami-affected region of Japan with an amazing group of people in 2011. I was inspired by the community's strength and had the most memorable and life-changing experience working with them and with other volunteers from throughout the world.
