ABOUT ME

I'm a male gendered person of average physique who likes to do fairly average things. At the moment this mostly includes working, however I try not to waste my spare time! I dislike sitting around doing nothing, so I try to spend my time off out of the house. I love interesting conversation, particularly with a beer in hand (note that this does not count as sitting around!), and as most people have this in common, I find I get along with just about anyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling through a bit of SE Asia at the moment, I want to couch surf as much as possible to meet locals and get a better 'feel' for the countries I'm visiting. Then I'll start hosting when I get settled back home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only one so far, and it couldn't have been better! My host hooked me up with a job, a car and friends in Perth within a few days of arriving. I count myself very lucky for this, and as a great believer in karma I will do my best to pass on my experience to other surfers.

Zainteresowania

Outdoorsy things, especially skiing! I'm trying to pick up surfing while I'm in Oz too, with mixed success so far. I love camping and hiking though, and moutain biking most weekends. I'm also learning to play the harmonica.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Scott Pilgrim vs the World was one the best films I've seen in a while, though there are countless others. Ever watched 'The Room'? Classic;)
The Black Keys and Arcade Fire are pretty much my favourite bands of my time, the best music was made forty years ago though... CCR nuf said.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Being near Christchurch for the Feb 22 earthquake earlier this year. I never realized how much a single event could effect me, but seeing the resilience of people up close and personal in tragic times is pretty inspiring.
