About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to inspire greater possibility and have as much fun as possible

ABOUT ME

Born so far north that you never see the sun in the winter or the stars come summer. I wrote a song called owl~ "I could be an astronaut, a painter, or a saint. I could build bridges, or empty parking meters. Shine shoes, scrub pots, dig graves, or feed alligators. I could be anything until they hear I'm going to be an owl one day! Had they believed you when you said it was impossible, had they believed you when you said it wasn't so. The world would be flat, and the sun would revolve around us. The stars would be night lights instead of worlds away. And Edison might have given up before his thousandth try. A thousand times before you get it right. A thousand times before that light bulb lights up." That's some of it. That's what I really love to do is sing and write songs. I also love to smell the new leaves, especially the balsam poplar. Oh my goodness (here I would have said god, but don't want to offend) they are so fantastic especially after that stretch of spring where everything is dusty and dirty. and when you walk barefoot they have those pods that drop off and stick to your feet.
Lately I've been taking a lot of classes on clearing your limitations and changing yourself and the world. It's pretty exciting especially when I do a session of energy work with someone and I can feel things shift and I know that (maybe) I'm contributing to creating possibilities that didn't exist before. Also really exciting to know that maybe we can change the world, just by asking.
I live in Whitehorse, which is next to Alaska. I manage a trailer park which has been incredibly stressful and educational and put me in contact with all sorts of people that I didn't even know existed! I work at the airport which has meant a lot of early mornings and wearing blue plastic gloves. I clean house for a couple of people. I work some Mondays at an organic produce club.
I love swimming in lakes and the ocean and dancing(I don't do this enough!)
I have a closet full of scrap fabric and own a treadle and an old electric singer sewing machine. I have a project that I've been working on since 2003 or 4. I'll probably finish it this winter.
Sometimes I really don't talk a lot, other times you can't shut me up. Basically I'm always singing though.

PHILOSOPHY

choose lightly, laugh long loud and hysterically whenever you can and do what you'd like to do not what you think you have to, should do or think someone else thinks you have to or should do!
