Hello everyone, my name is Yulia and i'm from Russian Federation :) No, it is not so cold and no, we don't drink vodka every day, haha :) I'm student at Tomsk Polytechnic University, I study customs management and will be a customs officer. Now, I'm a participant of the exchange program in Australia and I study business in QUT, Brisbane. I'm easy-going and cheerful person, so I'll glad to meet you, my future buddy! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because it is the best way to know local people from all over the world and get an incredible experience!

Interests

1. Snowboarding is my new love, but I try to learn it and I have a big progress! Hope it will be much better soon :)
2. Folk dancing - I danced folk dances on professional level for 12 years, and it was the biggest part of my life! Now I left this occupation, but in spite of this fact, I still have this skills :)
3. Skiing and biathlon - I grew up in place, where we usually have snow during 8 months per year. That is why, my favorite hobbies are connected with winter kinds of sports. :)
4. Reading - I'm pretty sure that reading helps people to become more interesting and to improve the imagination. Of course, I prefer Russian classic literature, but one of my favorite authors is William Shakespeare!
