Most importantly: my motto is “Live and let live”. I live by those words every single day, and I prefer spending time with those who also value equality, tolerance, open-mindedness, and acceptance.
I’m also an adventurer - I often travel not knowing where I’ll sleep that particular night, and I have no plans other than finding new people and hearing their life stories.
Now for the details:
My name is Yulia, but I go by Yulisa these days. I’m Ukrainian, but have lived in the USA for a year and Poland for 5 years now. My interests are super varied and I am always eager to learn about something new, no matter the subject. If I have a free evening, you’re most likely to find me at an art exhibit, bar or a documentary screening.
Into all things art, social/political activism, beauty, music, sustainable living (I’m just a beginner), vegetarianism, psychology.
I am a psychologist by education and calling, but in the past have been working for a corporation for 2 years and hated it. Currently working in the administration of a university - I am now much happier working for a public educational institution.
I try to be a creative and am constantly looking for my medium - be it photography, my ukulele, poetry or painting. I’ll try it all until I find the one!
