About Me
A Ukrainian, balancing in the EU 🇺🇦🇪🇺
Hello hello 👋🏻
Something about me.
I'm originally from Crimea, a paradise region in the south of Ukraine, where I spent the first half of my life. For the other half, I lived in Kyiv.
The year 2022 has changed me a lot. "We thought we had such problems. How could we know that we were happy?" - it turned out to be very symbolic.
I'd describe myself as peaceful, with a sense of humor, respectful, nature lover, non-conformist, straightforward, nonjudgmental, sincere, logical, introverted, intelligent, brutally honest, mature, distant, analytical and critical, sarcastic, interested in people mindset, creative, picky, homebody, animal lover, rather slow than energetic, usually seeking for good quality deep talks and laughs.
What else...
I'm not a fan of artificial, crowded, noisy places, contests, quest rooms, TV shows, TV series, big social gatherings, competitions, concerts, shopping malls, bars, public events... I prefer nature, privacy, relaxed company, comfort, max 2-3 people around, and a good atmosphere.
And no matter where you are, it matters who you are with.
P.S. have to mention, that I'm not a smoker (it's hard to handle cigarettes and icos smell). So if you smoke - it can be an issue for hosting/surfing, sorry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I registered back in 2014 when I went for a classic Euro trip, and someone mentioned about Couchsurfing. That's how I got to know about the community. And I'm proud to say that its been 10 years of an amazing experience here!
It went through the evolution from saving money on accommodation to meeting people for a cultural exchange, which brings inspiration and motivation to explore the world more.
I love to be on both sides, as a host, and as a guest. Unfortunately, I couldn't handle bombing, so i left my home, and cant host people these days.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: lately my preference goes to folk (Ukrainian n Scandinavian) as well as deathcore, nü-metal, metalcore & progressive metal. Depends on mood actually, can be anything.
Books: In love with a syllable by Salman Rushdie and Irvin Yalom
Movies: don't watch. But I like documentaries, lectures about culture, history, medicine and social science, and interviews.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo travelling
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversations and good listening company, comical storytelling, respect towards the place and host, keeping my place clean, not active time spending, some help which is possible from my side.
If I'm coming from Ukraine - let me know what'd you like me to bring :)
