I was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, and came here to Spain for university in 2008. I've finished my degree this year, and now I'm in the limbo of job-hunting and enjoying the extra free time I have for travelling and catching up on reading, and life.

I'm a simple person; the little things in life can move me.
I think that being open-minded and cultured is important - these two basic qualities would solve so many problems in the world that can be solved.

I'm just trying to find happiness, like the other billion -how many are we again ? LOL - people on this earth and/or elsewhere.
Sometimes I succeed, and other times I need to try harder.

I'd like to challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone; to travel to different places; understand each city (not as a visiting tourist - but as a resident); learn the culture of each place as much as I can; and to make friends.

I'm a constant traveller so it makes hosting people in my own home difficult, but I do hope to meet people and build friendships along my journey.

I have a really wierd mix of taste for music... Basically it ranges from baroque to electronic, but stays well away from reggaeton. I appreciate music that has meaning, music that is timeless, music that is art. After all music is poetry with a tune to it; which reminds me - I really like Def Jam Poetry...

I'm a big sci-fi and fiction fan, but I also enjoy comedy, historical documentaries and the good ol' drama; basically I like movies that inspire, invoke feeling and awaken curiosity. Of directors, I'd say I like Steven Speilberg (because who doesn't like Steven Speilberg, right?; Charlie Chaplin; George Lucas; Spike Lee, Hayao Miyazaki, Quentin Tarantino,... The list goes on, we'll be here for days.

I like books with lots of pictures in them :D ... I am an architect after all LOL. Books that have really resonated with me are Madiba's "A Long Walk to Freedom" and Maya Angelou's autobiography series...

Well recently, I managed to stir fry a packet of salad, mistaking it for a regular packet of vegetables... That was pretty 😂 amazing.
