I am an amateur mathematician, qualified medical doctor, and solo parent of the most wonderful child I have ever met. I'm currently a PhD student, studying tuberculosis transmission. I'm a tree hugger, a mermaid and I love to dance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was not very active. For years I had a vague intention to change this.

And then, earlier this year, my husband and I were hosted by a fantastic human being in Cairo, Egypt. He is someone we would both love to meet again, again and again. And we would not have connected with this particular random stranger without the assistance of the online couchsurfing community.

So now, my heart is in it.

I look forward to meeting more of you magnificent people out there. And I look forward to being the sort of person who makes travellers feel comfortable and cared for.
