About Me

I am now an exchange student in University of Maryland. I like learning, experiencing new things and challenging myself because life is always an amazing adventure. My dream job is to found a social enterprise contributing to my home country economy or working in international non-profit organizations as leader who solve international issue. On this way, I travel a lot to understand more about this world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a variety of music including rock music, indie and classic music, and I love jazz especially. I love reading and watching movies so much because I think anything containing a story is fascinating. I went to Berlin film festival this year and watched more than 3 during the last two days. The books I am currently into is The Mystic Masseur, The Shadow of the Wind and Poor Economics. I am a fan of The Big Issue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled as a backpacker for a month this winter and went to Hamburg, Berlin, Wrocław, Kraków, Warsaw and Budapest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned piano for more than 10 years. I love music so much that I also play clarinet, guitar, Chinese flute. I was a ballroom dancer for more than 2 years when I was a freshman and sophomore. I also love animals and nature a lot and would like to share my experience of camping, mountain climbing and raising dogs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As an international student, I practice how to cook Taiwanese food and can do pretty well now. I can also cook Indian curry because I met a few Indian friends. I would really like to cook for the host, teach the host how to do ballroom dancing and sing together!
