ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Brussels from an Indian father and an Italian mother. Lived, worked and studied between Istanbul, Berlin, London, Brussels and Vancouver over the last 10 years.

I have two passions : interpreting and yoga. Good coincidence, because that's also my job.

My philosophy: easy choices, hard life. Hard choices, easy life.

I like to use Couchsurfing to meet up with easy-going people and big time travellers. I've made friends forever through this app.

Intereses

I love learning new languages, reading novels and going out. Sometimes I like going out too much. Especially if some glitters are involved. And I generally start my day with some yoga and meditation (turns out it works better than coffee).

Música, películas y libros

My all-time favorite author is Milan Kundera. I love "Dancer in the Dark" to cry and "Little Miss Sunshine" to laugh. "Captain Fantastic" to cry and laugh at the same time. And "Call me by your name" when I feel nostalgic. I am also a big Almodovar fan.

I have been listening to Radiohead since I'm 16 and I have never heard better music since then.

Something you might not expect from a yogi: I listen to deep dark house really loudly when I am cooking.

Seeing the rain in the desert (in Israel). And seeing some humpback whales on an island in British Columbia in the middle of a rain forest.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can cook a quite descent Indian curry and I love cooking with others. But I am really bad at backing cakes so I often ask my guests to bring dessert.

And I can teach you all the names of the yoga postures in sanskrit (joke, most of them are a nightmare to pronounce).
