ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Yundi, from China.

I am currently doing my masters study in environmental health and conservation ecology in Ann Arbor, MI. I'd like to say that I've been constantly moving and I'm a thousand percent enjoying it. Traveling opens my eyes to the sparkling world and leads me to some of the most amazing people on this planet. I believe in and follow karma while traveling, and love to go places where no plans would ever tell you to.

Just like you, I have a couple of dreams to realize in a lifetime...
* Own a speed boat and be able to fly a plane
* Keep two grey hounds
* Visit tribes in Africa and learn from local people how to play the hand drum
* Become an architect, or at least build and decorate my own house
* Keep my friends and family smiling

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had never thought about staying in others' home as a way of travelling before I tried CS for my solo travel to Mexico. It was simply beyond my expectation and I have started to seriously thinking about trying to host in my small apartment haha and show other CSers what I've received from my great experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw Oscar playing the guitar on the edge of a cliff in Oaxaca and enjoyed the pleasure gifted to me by the beautiful sunshine and music. Gracias Oscar!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Born and raised in Chengdu, Sichuan, the city known for delicious hot food, I'm definitely a food-lover and will be more than happy to share with you how to cook simple Chinese cuisine with basic resources.

Also I learnt a few synchronized swimming skills when I was a kid and am still able to do some of them... though I don't really know how I can show you lol

I firmly believe every unique experience is well worth learning.
