ABOUT ME

We're open-minded, very friendly, very fun, optimistic, we have a good sense of humour, we love different music, travelling, we are devoted Christians.

PHILOSOPHY

As Christians and just friends we're trying to make people's lives happier and more fun! We feel that life with God makes sense and gives you hope and happiness, life without God leaves you empty.
We like to take care of people, encourage them in their difficulties. I (Katya) am a good motivator. :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We gladly accept at our place and we had 2 couchsurfing journeys in Europe- 2,5 months' trip in 2011 and 1,5 months in 2014, where we surfed wonderful couches of wonderful people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely amazing, surprising, happy...both hosting and surfing! We love it.

Listening to music and singing to a guitar in good company!
Arts:
All 4 of us can draw well, but usually there is not enough time for it :( We enjoy modern theatre. Love going to concerts! Love looking at beautiful pieces of art.

And of course - travelling!!! This our dream and plan!

Music:
For Russians who know Russian rock here are some names: Kalinov Most, Kino, Picnic, Mashina Vremeni, Chaif, Nautilus-Pompilius, Nol', Chizh, and so on!
Also - almost all styles- interesting beat, thoughtful lyrics, unusual solutions in music, rare instruments (but what can be better than a good old quitar!), songs that can touch the soul either by sound or by words. We don't like primitive pop, even despise it.

Books:
First of all, the Bible as the best source of wisdom and love.
Second, we're both passionate readers of good books - Russian and English classics, everything smart. Also science fiction and fantasy.

Movies:
Old Soviet films of all genres - oh, they are the best!
Also- good quality movies. They can be well-known or unknown by masses.

Experiencing a meteorite flight and several explosions above our heads (February 15, 2013, Chelyabinsk, Russia)!

We can teach you Russian language and cuisine, we're willing to share everything that's ours.
We can teach you Russian songs, which are very cool in all styles! :)
Willing to learn anything about the culture of our guests, as well as the basics of their languages.
