I'm a very active person. I love outdoor activities and all kind of sports: hike, surf, snowboarding, soccer, basketball, tennis...almost everything :)
I enjoy solo travelling or with friends, it's a way to meet people, to know other cultures, amazing places... but overall because it's the best way to enrich myself.
I love also spending time with my friends and family, having a beer or a glass of wine in a terrace (with sun, please!), going to the theatre, movies, live music bars, galleries or just spending time at the sunbathing, swimming or reading at the beach.
I'm pet friendly as well. I have a black lab, Mulan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because as I said travelling is a good way to meet people and their culture and it's much better than if I just stay at a hotel which is dull and insipid. I prefer a place where I can experience the local atmosphere, give me advice about what to visit, what to eat, where to go for a beer...

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen all kind of music, just depends on the mood and the moment of the day... I would listen Jazz at the beginning of the day while I'm having my hot coffee and reading the news for example. I would listen latin music while I'm working out at the gym or outdoors or if I really want to dance. I would listen indie if I'm travelling by car, plane or train. I would listen reggae if I'm chilling or having a rum with coke...
I love all kind of movies (but the thrillers) and books. If I have to choose a movie I would chose Live is Beautiful, it's one of my favourites, I really enjoy the movies based on true stories and historical movies (specially 2nd World War). If I have to choose a book I would chose right now On the Road by Kerouac.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a professor so I guess I can teach a lot of things but when I'm travelling (always, but specially when I'm travelling), the most important for me is to learn about everything (different experiences, culture, language, gastronomy, etc.) and to share (ideas, time, adventures, food, everything!).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share all my adventures, I've got lots of stories to explain, and I can give advise about places to visit, where can they have good food and good deals in general.
