About Me

Hi! I'm Yusuf, I'm Kurdish and I'm currently an intern doctor at Dicle University, Diyarbakir, Turkey. I will be graduated in 6 months and I will start to work as a full time medical doctor. This is my passion and it takes much of my time. Other than that, I consider myself a traveler and a big fan of self care. I'm also interested in playing tennis, chess, cycling, hiking, and basketball.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always want to meet new people, especially when I'm traveling, and as someone who lived in a completely different country for more than a decent amount of time, I know how hard it is to find some accommodation. That is why that I'm here, I want to provide some accommodation chances as much as I can do, and vice versa.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely rock. Top class. About books, I would say the classics. Jules Verne has a special place in my heart and in my mind. About the movies, all of the movies that Christopher Nolan has done. Also recently I'm interested in The Mandalorian. It's such a beautiful series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Vienna, Austria I went to Prater and got a chance to see all those scary amusement stuff. I was like, um should I try it or not, because I was scared of height. But then I said, let's do it, I tried the most scariest one and it's still one of the most scariest things that I've ever done in my entire life. I still have that video and whenever I play it, I can't believe that I had gut to try it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that you can actually understand by a bite of a snake that if that snake is venomous or not? It's pretty simple, if the bite has two big tooth marks, it means that snake might be venomous due to the venom channels that opens up to the those big teeth.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a beautiful place, clean, full of books, with some gym equipments and more importantly a host that is kind, understanding, ready to listen, ready to share, ready to expand the knowledge and more than ready to make his traveler comfortable.

Countries I’ve Visited
