ABOUT ME

I love traveling, therefore I carpool or get a train/bus ticket to make short trips to neighbour states. I visit further ones on longer holidays. Even one time, I visited all big cities along east coast, from Miami to NYC, with couple folks whom I met at a hostel. I Love road trips, don't rely on my navigation skills, not good at that one :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I was a former Leo and Rotaract; therefore many times, I hosted people from different cultures, countries back at my home in Turkey. I was kinda a couchsurfing host before it was on market and mainstream :) Anyways, I experienced that either being a host or guest. Even it seems just sharing a space, maybe some time with a different guy, it is much more than that.

I am an outgoing person (Thanks mom's genes :)) and love meeting with new people. Instead stucking in hotel rooms and touristic places, I always preferred meeting local people and getting know each other's culture and more. I believe sharing space, time, talk anything with a different individual gives you such a valuable experience.

I also believe that Couchsurfing gives you a platform that you find people who is open to share culture, knowledge and experiences and so on, I do pity for those people that register to couchsurfing just to find a place to stay for cost reduction. That’s not its spirit!

I would like to meet new friends and share time and know about their culture and more. I would like to participate as much as I can due to my schedule.

Interessen

Dancing! salsa, bachata, kizomba.

Meeting new people, discovering new authors (once I find and like a new author, I try to finish all his/her series :)) Also scuba diving is another thing I love to do.

Since soccer (Football in Europe) is a big deal in Turkey and I raised with that culture, I can't think a life without it. I was a former amateur player years ago, CB, any request for indoor, outdoor soccer is greatly appreciated :)
I love sightseeing and visiting a city with locals, spirits of cities are hidden in local streets, not in fancy touristic places.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I was part of a youth exchange camp in Norway, camp was really amazing.. Jumped into a almost frozen lake, damn! I will never do it again :)

Scuba diving is something totally different and makes you forget about anything for the time being..

Salsa and Latin Dance, is my passion. I love dancing and latin music, our crew's exhibitions to crowded audience was pretty amazing.

I do love talking and sharing thoughts, especially about world politics, history, etc. Also I can teach bachata, salsa to my hosts or guests :)
