About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi. I'm Yutaro Motjima. I'm from Kagoshima prefecture, a countryside of Japan and now working in Tokyo as a consultant. I used to study in the U.K. for a year and made lots of friends from different countries with different backgrounds. When I traveled around Europe in 2013, I was using counchsurfing and fortunately, very nice people invited me to their places and we became nice friends. I look forward to that kind of experience in the near future.
PHILOSOPHY
Practice doesn't make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed in host houses in two countries, three different regions back in 2013. They kindly introduced many things about their towns to me, and I enjoyed it so much that I want to experience that kind of trip.
Interests
I love jogging, reading books, keeping a diary, talking to people from all over the world. By having these hobbies I can improve myself both mentally and physically. I am a big mania of Haruki Murakami and I read almost all his works in Japanese and some of them in English. I'm quite interested in other cultures and sharing our perspectives each other!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jazz&Old Rocks
Movies: "Midnight Run", "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After I graduated from high school, I got into the vocational school to get job early because I didn't want to study. But after I spent six month there, I came to realize that I truly wanted to solve environmental problems in the future and I'm studying economics now. That experience made me notice of the importance of talking and listening to my inner voice and accept other's opinion.
