I'm a small piece of the universe that somehow turned conscious and curious. Still trying to find my place among the stars:)

I grew up in China, spent quite a few formative years in the US and UK before moving to Sweden. Finished a PhD on gravitational waves ("ripples of spacetime") and now working as a data scientist.

How the universe works is deeply fascinating to me. I enjoy exploring the universe with science. Besides work, I also read a lot, write a little, and dabble in photography (of mostly architecture and nature) when I travel.

Musica, film e libri

Arrival and Interstellar are probably on top but among 1600 movies and shows I've watched it's hard to list all my favourites.

I used to read lots of history and philosophy. For the past couple of years I've mostly been a sci-fi reader (Ursula Le Guin, Octavia Butler, Arkady Martine, Peter Watts, Ted Chiang, Cixin Liu, Stanislaw Lem etc.).

I fall asleep within 30 seconds of being horizontal, every night. This otherwise amazing superpower made me miss the northern lights, twice...
