Kurt Vonnegut is definitely my favourite author, his writing is packed with wisdom and witt. Every time I travel I carry one of his books with me.

There are quite a few. I recall trying kayaking with a friend in a river in Laos and failed miserably, carried away and unexpectedly arrived to a remote area, joining locals throwing a baby shower.
It was a wonderful experiance and a great moral, you can never know what would happen.
