Hi there! I grew up on an island on the southeast coast of mainland China, went to New York City for my undergraduates, moved to the UK for my masters study and finally settled down in London for work.

I work in technology and it fascinates me. I am quite involved in the startup world and can't wait to see how tech is going to change the world day by day. Having said that, I'm a big fan of old stuffs - vinyl, history, ancient architectures. Other interests include rifle shooting (strictly target only) and making lil radio shows. Lots of the time I'm happy enough with sitting on the grass and staring at the sky - sun isn't out that often here in the UK and you gotta catch it while it lasts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My four years in New York I basically ran a little hostel in my student dorm room. Every once a while I'll have people stay over. Deep conversation tends to happen 1)after a few drinks or 2) before bedtime, sometimes both. I was trained to be a Sociologist, meaning it's a habit for me to overthinking about this society and you're more than welcome to start a chat with me on anything.

Interests

In addition to what I've mentioned above, another big (or should I say HUGE) interest of mine is food. I once held a bartending certificate and made the perfect long island iced tea. Happy to explore new restaurants if there's a place you've been wanting to go (don't we all have one).
